Thousands of years ago human beings had fully developed functionality, perfect health, and immortal bodies that could be discarded at will. Then in the time of Atlantis, human DNA was tampered with genetic engineering, viruses, and alterations of the earth’s magnetosphere and magnetic field to create slave castes with lower IQ, death genes, and low psychic consciousness. These dysfunctional genetic traits pervaded throughout all walks of life effecting all cultures, societies, and institutions. Occasionally throughout history a genius or savant would be born with more DNA activated. But what does it mean to have activated DNA?

DNA consists of strands of amino acids know as codons that contain instructions to start and stop. Roughly  98.3% of these sequences are found to be “non-coding” which means  these codons are not coding proteins in any functional sense, the other 2.7% code is used for the construction of the human body.

Classical scientists who don’t believe consciousness can affect DNA have come up with colorful theories about the purpose of this junk DNA, but this doesn’t even come close to explaining to what humans are.

A better explanation would be considered if you believe the possibility that physical DNA is overlaid with an etheric DNA outside of this time/space dimension. When we focus our intention, thoughts, and or consciousness on what we want in life; this etheric DNA changes and transmits information into physical DNA which activates dormant codons. This probably explains the source of instant cures, psychosomatic disorders, and past life memories.

DNA proteins perform a vast array of functions within living organisms; including catalyzing metabolic reactions, replicating DNA, responding to stimuli, and transporting molecules from one location to another. Blood plasma acts as the protein reserve in the body, protecting against infection and diseases and has a vital role in delivering functional proteins required for DNA synthesis. Hemoglobin in the blood carries oxygen from the lungs to the rest of the body where it releases the oxygen to burn nutrients. This provides energy to power the functions of our body, in the process called energy metabolism. This is significant because a change made to our blood is directly related to how energy is metabolized in our body and consciousness.

Metabolism is regulated by Mitochondrial DNA; which are structures within cells that convert chemical energy from food into a form that cells can use known as adenosine triphosphate (ATP). ATP measures the amount of light quotient held by the cells and tissues of the body and is directly related to the embodiment of spiritual consciousness and critical for energy metabolism. Without properly functioning Mitochondrial DNA, humanity cannot effectively generate new proteins for DNA synthesis; nor store the levels of ATP required to generate the spiritual light via micro wormholes in the cells to embody our spiritual consciousness. Thus, Mitochondrial DNA damage has left humanity grossly addicted to consuming everything in the external world to fill this energy void within our cells.

At the end of each strand of DNA are Telomeres that protect our chromosomes, like the plastic tips at the end of shoelaces. Without the coating, shoelaces become frayed until they can no longer do their job. The same concept applies to telomeres, DNA strands become damaged over time and our cells can’t do their job. Our cells replenish by copying themselves. This happens constantly throughout our lives. Telomeres get shorter each time a cell copies itself, but the important DNA stays intact. Eventually, telomeres get too short to do their job, causing our cells to age and stop functioning properly. Therefore, telomeres act as the aging clock in every cell.

Mitochondrial disease generally is a result of traits inherited from genetic bloodlines damage and telomere damage. It reduces overall energy production for the available body-consciousness, stunting human development, and spiritual growth. Thus, as the body ages and gets diseases faster; the personal energy is deactivated and depleted. This severely limits the amount of usable energy available for the brain development and all neurological system functions.

Probably the best way to restore our DNA is through a DNA activation meditation. If you are a fan of the Star Wars world then you may have fantasized about how fun it would be to actually become a Jedi. Well what if I told you that many of the main abilities of the Jedi are things that you could learn to do by following some basic consciousness techniques and mindfulness meditation?

Let’s break down the basic and most common abilities displayed by the Jedi and see what types of techniques we could use in order to attain those abilities.

1. Sensing the Force

The first and most common thing that distinguishes a force sensitive being from the rest is their ability to feel and connect with the force.

“Well, the Force is what gives a Jedi his power. It’s an energy field created by all living things. It surrounds us and penetrates us; it binds the galaxy together.”

―Obi-Wan Kenobi

If you think about this from a metaphysical point of view the force is our connection to oneness. It’s our ability to sense that connection and use it to enhance ourselves for peace and to help the natural flow and balance of the universe.

Meditation, yoga, reiki, Deeksha, mindfulness and other techniques have been used for a long time in order to increase and fine tune our senses so that we are better able to sense the ‘force’ around us.

2. Superhuman Reflexes

The next most common ability of the Jedi is their superhuman reflexes. This ability gives them the edge when it comes to dodging laser blasts, dueling with lightsabers, bouncing back blaster fire, driving podracers, being able to accurately leap or fall great distances, etc.

In order for a person in our world to be able to train their reflexes enough so that they could appear to be superhuman and react in less than a moment’s notice they would be have to slow down their perception of time and become fully present. Kairos time or ‘God’s time’ is created when a person enters flow, or ‘the zone’, and begins operating fully in the moment.

The best way to train for this state is to use mindfulness techniques in order to fully immerse and train the physical senses while also practicing a form of ego-transcending mindset known as the Observer Consciousness.

Observer Consciousness is where you become aware of all of your senses, emotions, and thoughts, but you are completely neutral to them. You enter a higher state where you aren’t ruled by your ego or chemical emotions but instead trust your higher feelings, intuition, and can see truth unclouded. This is when you will be able to see and react without missing a beat mentally, physically, or verbally.

3. Connection to other Jedis

Jedi often talk about feeling each other through the force. When one of them dies or is in great pain the more sensitive Jedi sense the ‘disturbance in the force’ and feel that pain with that person. This is what being an empath is all about.

Unfortunately, because of a lack of training and emotional balancing, many empaths see their extra sensitivity as a curse because they can feel others pain and are unable to function easily around those who are hurting or projecting their emotions.

The way a super sensitive Jedi would deal with this is a mix of two techniques where they focus on projecting their own will (light) and stay in a neutral observer consciousness. When you are neutral the waves of other people’s emotions flow through and around you without sticking on you. When you are positive or negative you can attract other people’s emotions making it hard to tell the difference between yourself and others.

When you are neutral you can observe your own feelings, chemical based emotions, and clearly see what is coming from those around you. When you are neutral the emotions don’t hit you like a ton of bricks and you are more able to respond with strength and balance. The only way an empath can help another person is from a space of balance.

Yoga, meditation, mindfulness, being present and chakra alignment techniques are some of the best ways to become balanced and stay present. Once you are in this state you can see what is going on with you and those around you so that you can better resolve issues.

4. Force Jump

The next ability that a Jedi can do is strengthening or augmenting their own body with the force. They can use this strengthening to respond quickly and more accurately in times of danger. If a person was able to sense the force while being present mentally and then enhance their basic physical senses with mindfulness and exercise then they could learn to combine the two into what would appear to be superhuman strength.

Hypnotism, meditation, and other mind-over-matter techniques have been used to push the mental barriers in order to enhance the body for thousands of years.

5. Seeing the past/future

In times of meditation when you do not need to stay fully present a Jedi may use their force sensing and higher awareness to observe what happened in the past or what is likely to happen in the future. Pattern recognition is important in awareness and can be used in order to observe evidence from the past and predict what is to come.

Much like Sherlock Holmes when you are able to see more of what is around you will be able to see truth more clearly. You can also predict many moves forward much like in a game of chess when you can see patterns in people and society at large. The trick to this is realizing your own power of influence that can change the outcome of an event through your actions and awareness.

A Jedi could also tap into a higher state of third eye awareness known as recall. Unlike the foggy and emotional bias of memory, recall is where a person literally rewinds their mind and observes a past event from a neutral third party point of view. This gives them the ability to see what happened with clarity in order to heal, adjust for the future, and avoid making the same mistake twice.

With training and oneness connection, this type of past and future remote viewing could be used to observe any event in time space even if the body of the person using the technique wasn’t present.

6. Jedi Mind Trick

Force of will on another person is one of the most controversial abilities of the Jedi. Many people feel that influencing the mind of another person is wrong. However with great ethical debate you can see how a Jedi would use the technique in order to avoid a conflict that would end in someone being harmed.

Once a person can sense the energy or force coming from another person because of observer consciousness it would be quite simple to know what to say or do in order to sway a person to act a certain way or bring them back into a state of balance and peace.

Depending on what you are trying to accomplish this ability isn’t too hard if you are balanced, neutral and have your own strong sense of intuition and will. If you visualize projecting light from your chakras you will find that your ability to influence those around you is strong even if they don’t consciously see what is going on. This is where the Jedi needs to make sure they are doing things for the good of all involved and not using this to manipulate for power or gain. That is the path to the dark side.

7. Telekinesis

Last but not least the Jedi is able to connect with the force around them in such a strong way that they are able to influence physical objects from a distance. If you think about this scientifically you can see how each object in the universe has its own frequency that its particles are vibrating at. If a Jedi was sensitive enough to feel that energy field they could find a way to influence that object with their own energy field in order to move it.

This is where a Jedi would need to be able to use all of the techniques we have gone over in order to enhance their ability to reach and manipulate the thing they are trying to move. Perhaps the Jedi would be changing the magnetics around the object or just altering the energy of the object itself.

Once we see that time, space and distance are merely illusions of the mind then we will be able to heal, move objects and have a much greater influence on the world around us.

“Size matters not. Look at me. Judge me by my size, do you? Hmm? Hmm. And well you should not. For my ally is the Force, and a powerful ally it is. Life creates it, makes it grow. Its energy surrounds us and binds us. Luminous beings are we, not this crude matter. You must feel the Force around you; here, between you, me, the tree, the rock, everywhere, yes. Even between the land and the ship.”

According to the Telegraph, Dr Brian Dias, from the department of psychiatry at Emory University, said: ”From a translational perspective, our results allow us to appreciate how the experiences of a parent, before even conceiving offspring, markedly influence both structure and function in the nervous system of subsequent generations.

“Such a phenomenon may contribute to the etiology and potential intergenerational transmission of risk for neuropsychiatric disorders such as phobias, anxiety and post-traumatic stress disorder.”

This suggests that experiences are somehow transferred from the brain into the genome, allowing them to be passed on to later generations.

The researchers now hope to carry out further work to understand how the information comes to be stored on the DNA in the first place. They also want to explore whether similar effects can be seen in the genes of humans.

Professor Marcus Pembrey, a paediatric geneticist at University College London, said the work provided“compelling evidence” for the biological transmission of memory.

He added: “It addresses constitutional fearfulness that is highly relevant to phobias, anxiety and post-traumatic stress disorders, plus the controversial subject of transmission of the ‘memory’ of ancestral experience down the generations.

“It is high time public health researchers took human transgenerational responses seriously.”

“I suspect we will not understand the rise in neuropsychiatric disorders or obesity, diabetes and metabolic disruptions generally without taking a multigenerational approach.”

Professor Wolf Reik, head of epigenetics at the Babraham Institute in Cambridge, said, however, further work was needed before such results could be applied to humans.

He said: “These types of results are encouraging as they suggest that transgenerational inheritance exists and is mediated by epigenetics, but more careful mechanistic study of animal models is needed before extrapolating such findings to humans.”

Are you feeling cold? Then try your own guided meditation to increase your core body temperature. A team of researchers at the National University in Singapore revealed that g-tummo meditation has been used by Tibetan nuns to increase their core body temperature and temperature in their fingers and toes. Monasteries maintaining g-tummo traditions are very rare and are mostly located in the remote areas of eastern Tibet.

According to research published in the journal PLoS ONE, Tibetan nuns were wrapped in wet sheets in     -25 degrees Celsius temperatures. Using electroencephalography (EEG) the team observed an increase of core temperatures up to 38.3 degrees Celsius. Normal body temperature is only 37 degrees Celsius. In other words the nuns could function in cold environments without decreased body temperatures.

The two main aspects of the g-tummo meditation that can aid in temperature increase are ‘vase breath’ which causes thermogenesis or heat production and concentrative visualization which involves focusing on mental images of flames along the spinal cord to prevent heat losses.

Associate Professor Maria Kozhevnikov from the Department of Psychology at the National University of Singapore, said: ‘Practicing “vase breathing” alone is a safe technique to regulate core body temperature in a normal range. The participants whom I taught this technique to were able to elevate their body temperature, within limits, and reported feeling more energised and focused. With further research, non-Tibetan meditators could use “vase breathing” to improve their health and regulate cognitive performance.’

When we begin to meditate, our body function consciously regulates the body temperature. When we control our breath or breathe deeply; stress levels decrease, muscle tensions reduce, and our body temperature returns back to homeostasis.

According to researcher John-Ding-E Young; Adjunct Professor, Laboratory of Cellular Physiology and Immunology, Rockefeller University, and President of Inteplast Corp., Livingston, NJ, USA and Eugene Taylor, Lecturer on Psychiatry, Harvard Medical School; meditation creates a “hypometablic state”- a deeply relaxed hibernation like condition that we enter during deep sleep, in conditions of starvation and during hypnosis.

This state is characterized by a decrease in oxygen consumption and carbon dioxide elimination and decreased respiratory rate. But the most significant difference is that the body appears to move into a deep sleep state with the consciousness remaining responsive and alert. Potentially the effects could benefit deep sea divers, interstellar space travel, enhanced metabolic activity for athletes, pain management, and dream exploration.

The easiest way to learn to meditate and enjoy deep meditative states could be as simple as closing your eyes for a minimum of 11 minutes a day and allow your mind to drift into a relaxed state of mind. Consciousness and the illusion of reality
‘Unified Field Theory’ suggests that our reality is a sea of energy, an energetic illusion that our consciousnesses perceive and interact with. The world you see around you is really a soup of intelligent energy fooling your senses into thinking it is the tangible, visible and audible reality that you experience.
In physics, unified field theory can be described as ‘all that is usually thought of as fundamental forces and elementary particles to be written in terms of a single field’ (Wikipedia.org).

We all learned at school that matter (solids, liquids, gases, and everything you can see) is made up of atoms. Atoms consist of particles of energy and lots of empty space (the empty space or void itself being highly charged with latent energy). How can it be that the hard, tangible world around us consists of pure energy? Our senses are being fooled because we can’t see past this unified field – we are completely immersed within it, it is everything and everywhere.
Physical reality as we perceive it is a product of, or a set of symptoms arising from, the unified field. Newtonian physics and the natural laws arise from the illusion, the product that unified field has given to us. Quantum physics however studies our reality at the quantum level, the unimaginably small level where everything is made up of energy.
So, matter fundamentally consists of particles of energy and empty space. The thing is, when particles of energy are observed, they appear as just that; particles of energy. But when they are not being observed, they do not exist – they appear as a frequency wave, and wave of probabilities; or possible objects. A wave of energy. Please check out the double slit experiment for proof of that.
It follows then, that if you are not looking at an object it does not yet exist. Or more accurately it has not manifested. It simply exists as waves of probabilities until you perceive it – at which point it manifests into your reality. Most people find this impossible to believe.
The unified field is an infinite soup of intelligent energy in the form for energetic waves of probability that we exist within. As your timeline (your future) is not set; when your consciousness interacts with a certain portion of the unified field, it manifests in the perceived time and space required – but previously to this it remains as waves of possibilities because the outcome was not set.
An easy way to understand the illusion of reality is to look at a free roaming computer game. Reality is unimaginably more sophisticated however. The game is downloaded electronically (as energy) and stored in a tiny space on the computer. The code in the game comes to life with electricity and when you play it, you’re presented with moving scenery and players (avatars) walking about. The avatar, if it possessed consciousness, could not see beyond the game, it is totally immersed within it. It’s beingness is stored electronically somewhere, yet it manifests and walks around in the game. The avatar’s surroundings would look, sound and feel very real to it if it possessed consciousness. It might even touch something and feel it, yet nothing is truly real, it’s merely computer code. Thinking about this analogy can help to clarify our own situation.
In addition, if you have seen ‘The Matrix’ you can think of ‘Neo’ being plugged into the Matrix – he cannot see past the matrix while he is totally immersed within it. He learns however, to manipulate the Matrix as we can learn to do in our own reality. His body, brain and everything are illusionary, and his experiences are playing out in his mind. This does not make these experiences any less valid however. His companions too can share in this illusion, when they are collectively plugged into it.
Dr Sylvester James Gates Jr, a theoretical physicist, Professor of Physics at the University of Maryland, serving on Barack Obama’s Council of Advisors on Science and Technology has found that computer codes exists, just like the type found within a web browser, buried very deeply inside the equations that occur in string theory. String theory attempts to provide a unified and complete description of the basic structure of our universe. Dr Gates has said that ‘I am left with the puzzle of trying to figure out if I live in the Matrix or not’.
Given that everything, even our bodies, are fundamentally made up of particles of energy, this would mean that our actual human bodies too are an illusion. There is no ‘physical’ reality, including our bodies and our brain, it’s all within our minds.
So, what am I?
Given that you are self aware, aware of others and your surroundings, and that you are seeking and searching experience all the time, and that you are a unique personality – you must be a conscious sentient being! And given that your body and surroundings are likely an energetic illusion – you are very probably; pure energetic consciousness.
If My Body Is An Illusion How Can It Do All That It Can Do?
You body is a mega sophisticated illusion perceived within your own mind and other people’s minds that is specifically tailored to interact with and interpret our reality. Your consciousness interacts with the unified field (it is part of the field) and you perceive that your human body is doing the interacting. Your body is programmed with five senses that receive and interpret this reality. Or so we perceive anyway, really our consciousness is purposefully immersed in this earthly experience and has been limited to experience it through five illusory senses. Our body however is calibrated to pick up this illusion’s frequency of matter, like a radio being tuned to a radio station at a certain frequency.
If A Tree Falls in The Woods Does It Make A Sound?
Many wonder, that if we turn away from what we are looking at, does it disappear because we are not observing it? No, it doesn’t disappear, it’s still there encoded into the unified field, we are simply not decoding it at that moment.
If a tree falls in the woods and no one is there to hear it, does it make a sound? No it does not. Here’s why. Sound is caused by vibrations in the air being registered by components within the ear. If a tree falls in the woods then it will hit the ground and send rippling air outward. If there is no conscious entity present to decode these vibrations as sound, then there is no sound, they are merely vibrations within the air.
If a deaf person is standing within audible range of this occurrence and perceives no vibrations as sound – sound therefore does not exist (although they may feel the vibrations on the skin or through leg muscles as sensation). Vibrations are only perceived as sound when a conscious entity with appropriate hearing receptors (or ears!) is present to decode the electrical signals from the ears, at which point the brain translates them into sound within the brain. The sound is within the brain (and mind) only.
Reality exists only within the mind and not outside of the body. The mind, the infinite you, the seat of your consciousness, utilizes experiences that the brain has decoded from the unified field.
Scientists examine matter on an atomic level and say that it is made up of atoms. Atoms are mostly 99.9% empty space, so how can atoms create our hard tangible reality? Atoms don’t create our reality, atoms too are an illusion, we decode the unified field within our consciousness and the unified field tells us that on a minuscule level matter is made up of atoms, particles of energy and so on. There is never anything more than the waveform reality of probabilities.
There is no morphing into physical objects and scenery outside the confines of our minds. We interact with and perceive the unified field, changing it energetically using our energetic consciousnesses. The wave function of our energetic reality collapses when there is an observer present because we cannot perceive the wave function, it must be interpreted into matter consisting of atoms and their components which are perceived in the mind.
Going deeper, individuality too is an illusion. Individuality is important for the purpose of having a unique experience for learning and progressing. However, rather than each of us being a point of consciousness floating in the sea of intelligent energy that is the unified field, instead we are the unified field. Imagine that there is no space (as in distance) and that each of us possesses consciousness that is simply part of the energetic fabric of the unified field, not local to any single place. Often-times those who experience a near death experience or very deep meditation gain a feeling of largeness or expansiveness. This feeling could be a result of experiencing the sensation of being all things and everywhere, of psychic unity with all that there is. This is called ‘psychic expansion’ and here our consciousness gets a glimpse into the true vastness if the unified field.
Your thoughts and memories could be stored and accessed out there in the unified field. Each of us are all things and everywhere, yet we undergo this human experience over and over again with the aim of understanding what separation, ego and ignorance of our true nature are like.
Why Do People Talk About The Universe Being Holographic?
This is an easy way for people to understand reality being an energetic creation rather that actual hard matter and nothing more. A hologram is a three dimensional projection and so it is assumed that our world is somehow projected out in front of our eyes for us to see – and when we shut our eyes it disappears only to reappear when we open our eyes again. Really, there are no holograms at all.
The unified field is decoded by our consciousness and turned into meaning within our minds. There is no projector, no hologram, no screen or loud speakers within our brains – it’s all neurons firing electrical pulses and coming together for our minds to perceive. Our brains receive the information from reality and decode it (physically speaking) as electrical impulses within the brain to be perceived. No light for example, gets inside our brains, yet we perceive the inputs as being bright and illuminated. This is not a hologram in the brain, the brain is decoding information and perceiving it, it’s all electrical pulses and information. There is no outward projection of a hologram, it’s all within the mind.
Again when we look away, reality is not gone, the information within the unified field is still there, we are simply not decoding it. We look at a table, we decode the unified field through our consciousness and know that it is a table. We look away. The table remains in wave form as it always was, a table coded into the field,. We look again and decode the field and ‘see’ a table once more. If we move the table then the field remembers our changes and the next person or consciousness to come along will also experience that the table has moved. We all share the same unified field, we can all change it, interact with it and perceive it.
When you are dreaming and you are unaware that you are dreaming, you are unable to see beyond the dream. You are immersed in that reality, yet it is not real. In your dreams you see sights, feel sensations, hear sounds, experience circumstances and events, and even smell things! But the dream is not real, your senses are fooled into thinking it is real. Your dream is (scientifically) the result of neurons firing within your brain creating visualizations, yet you experience a believable reality within your mind. (Note that dreams do have a reality of their own).
Imagine we are immersed in a similar sort of reality during our earthly lives and we can understand why it seems very real. The electrical signals within our brains are producing the dream experience just like the unified field is producing our life experiences.
So if this is true what does it mean for me?

Take from this what you will. Know though that your earthly experience is valid and important otherwise you would not have chosen to have this experience. You’re here for a reason, so whether you are living in a illusion or in a solid tangible reality, who cares – so long as you make the most of your precious lifetime.

Consciousness in The Holographic Illusion of Reality. Are We In The Matrix?

For the first time, scientists have found clear biological evidence that meditation and support groups can affect us on a cellular level.

We’re often told that being happy, meditating and mindfulness can benefit our health. We all have that one friend of a friend who says they cured their terminal illness by quitting their job and taking up surfing – but until now there’s been very little scientific evidence to back up these claims.

Now researchers in Canada have found the first evidence to suggest that support groups that encourage meditation and yoga can actually alter the cellular activity of cancer survivors.

Their study, which was published in the journal Cancer last week, is one of the first to suggest that a mind-body connection really does exist.

The team found that the telomeres – the protein caps at the end of our chromosomes that determine how quickly a cell ages – stayed the same length in cancer survivors who meditated or took part in support groups over a three-month period.

On the other hand, the telomeres of cancer survivors who didn’t participate in these groups shortened during the three-month study.

Scientists still don’t know for sure whether telomeres are involved in regulating disease, but there is early evidence that suggests shortened telomeres are associated with the likelihood of surviving several diseases, including breast cancer, as well as cellular ageing. And longer telomeres are generally thought to help protect us from disease.

“We already know that psychosocial interventions like mindfulness meditation will help you feel better mentally, but now for the first time we have evidence that they can also influence key aspects of your biology,” said Linda E. Carlson, a psychosocial research and the lead investigator at the Tom Baker Cancer Centre,in a press release. She conducted the study alongside scientists from the University of Calgary.

“It was surprising that we could see any difference in telomere length at all over the three-month period studied,” said Carlson. “Further research is needed to better quantify these potential health benefits, but this is an exciting discovery that provides encouraging news.”

As part of the research, 88 breast cancer survivors who had completed their treatment more than three months ago were monitored. The average age of the participants was 55, and to be eligible to participate in the study they all had to have experienced significant levels of emotional distress.

They were separated into three groups  – one was asked to attend eight weekly, 90-minute group sessions that provided instructions on mindfulness meditation and gentle yoga. These participants were asked to practice meditation and yoga at home for 45 minutes daily.

The second group met up for 90 minutes each week for the three months, and were encouraged to talk openly about their concerns and feelings.

The third control group simply attended one six-hour stress management seminar.

Before and after the study, all participants had their blood analysed and their telomere length measured.

Both groups who attended the support groups had maintained their telomere length over the three-month period, while the telomeres of the third group had shortened. The two groups who’d attended the regular meetings also reported lower stress levels and better moods.

Although this is pretty exciting research, it’s still not known whether these benefits will be long-term or what’s causing this biological effect. Further research is now needed to find out whether these results are replicable across a larger number of participants, and what they mean for our health long-term.

But it’s a pretty huge first step towards understanding more about how our mental state affects our health. And it’s part of a growing body of research out there – a separate group of Italian scientists published in PLOS ONE a few weeks ago also showed that mindfulness training can change the structure of our brains.

Of course for many believers in meditation, this discovery probably isn’t that exciting. Research back in the ’80s had suggested that cancer patients who join support groups are more likely to survive. But as we like to say, peer review or it didn’t happen.
